Join the North Lawndale Sesquicentennial Committee as we continue our monthly Storytelling Events with a focus on “Culture of North Lawndale” at Spaulding Memorial Garden.

This event is being held in conjunction with a “Community Work Day” to help prepare a Pop-Up Community Museum in the community garden at 16th St. and Spaulding Ave. That event will run from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and involve painting, weeding, and site preparation in addition to food, family fun activities, and museum exhibition feedback. Come for any or all of the day’s events!
